Ireland should be a honorable loser.

It is obvious that the playoff game is scandalous where "Les Bleus" (The national football team of France) gained the ticket to the 2010 FIFA World Cup by handling assisted goal and I have some sympathies to the loser as many people in the world do.

The Ireland's requirement of rematch was quite natural but rejected by FIFA as anticipated.
They must have stopped at this stage.

Their 2nd requirement is to become the 33rd special delegate in the summer of 2010 in South African Republic which I think far from the spirit of fair play and will never have been accepted by FIFA.

Ireland should be a good loser. They have a lot of chance to show their presence. EURO 2012 will be the next chance, and their good performance in Brasil in 2014 would bring them great respect from all over the world.

Yes, I do agree.
It should be better for Ireland to treat them own as a good looser.
However at the same time, I have certain concern on Henry who, I believe, has used his God hand instinctively but with innocence.
Although he used to be (and still to be) a magnificent football player, he has not succeeded in showing his magnificent capabilities in previous World Cup games nor EURO.
And it is said that his timid but gentle character has hindered him from attaining glorious achievements during big events in the past.
Henry should be very much distressed now by what has been done in that important game and scolds himself, since he’s regarded as good-natured guy.

I really wish that Henry can be released from his current pain regardless of how and in which way Ireland would pursue.

Thank you for your comment.

If the coach of Les Bleus were more talented, They would have been qualified more easily in the continental qualification. Henry might be a victim of Domenech in a sense. He and Les Bleus would receive lots of booing in the games next summer and our national delegate Samurai Blue will possibly in the same group.

What will happen in the night of 4 Dec, tomorrow !

>Hi Florestan san,

Thank you also for your reply.
It was my peak for myself to be enthusiastic toward football games, when Japan and Korea co-sponsored the World Cup in 2002.
I watched every possible game through TV, no matter if Japanese team was a part of the game or not.
Although I have noted recently that Japan-Korea 2002 was regarded as one of the most horrible World Cup in the history by worldwide football fans, I still believe that Japanese part of games were fairly appreciated by them due to Japan’s welcome attitude to foreign players or guests, fairness, well-mannered audience, visiting to the stadiums and cheering to the games between foreign teams without any favoritism at all, etc.
Nevertheless, it is regretful to hear Japan & Korea as one single phrase.
I was not so interested in German 2006, and probably I may not feel any expectation to SA 2010 either.
I am a baseball fan; especially YG is my great favorite.
2009 was really a good year, starting from WBC up to Japan series with Nipponham Fighters, despite 2009 is a terrible year for economy.

Ciao.

English supporters left Japan in 2002 with the words "Thank you Japan, the best host country in the world". No need to add any words for us.

On the contrary every Korean game in the tournament stage was horrible with supporters shout "Tae han ming guk" and suspicious judges.

Tiau. Ate logo.

> Bom dia, Senhor Florestan.
Voce pode falar Portuguese?
Eu tamben lo estudeu na universidade por quarto anos, mas eu esqueci presque tudo!

Competitors are Holland, Cameroon and Denmark.
While Kitazawa san has guessed the outcome of Japan team as one win and two draws, it should not be possible!
Most probable assumption can be three losses to be honest.

Au revoir.

PS
I have missed my handle name in my former mail. Sorry.

Bom dia, Sr.Decency.

Sim, falo portuguese um pouco, mas não bem. Minha segunda idioma estrangeiro é Francês.

I think Japan's result of 2 draws and 1 win in the group league is achievable, if all the conditions are going well, although the probablity must be quite low.
